Quality Administrator Jobs in Dover, DE
A Quality Control (QC) Technician plays a critical role in the quality control industry by ensuring that products meet certain standards of quality. They perform regular inspections and tests on products, monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, accept or reject finished items, and report their findings to appropriate departments for corrections. In some cases, they may also be responsible for calibrating and maintaining testing equipment. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that the end product is safe, efficient, and meets the company's quality standards.
QC Technicians should have strong technical skills, keen attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. They should also be proficient in data analysis and report writing. Certification in Quality Control such as the Certified Quality Technician (CQT) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is often required. Before becoming a QC Technician, a person may have roles such as Laboratory Assistant, Quality Assurance Associate, or Production Operator. These roles give them the necessary exposure to lab procedures, testing methods, and quality assurance protocols that will be crucial in their role as a QC Technician.
