Hiring Opportunity: Columbus, Ohio

Our client is looking to hire a Quality Engineer. They are a world leading automotive supplier for steel and aluminum components, and one of the largest growing companies in Central Ohio. The quality engineer will be responsible for the development, application and maintenance of quality control systems for materials used in their process. Successful candidates will have proven experience in quality to include the above description as well as PPAP and auditing experience.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of the Quality Management System.

- Ensuring the efficacy of new and existing processes

- Perform PPAP of new and existing product.

- Represents QM department in APQP activities.

- Development and control of quality documentation for product and processes (QM plan, PFMEA, Inspection forms, etc.).

- PPAP, audits & visitations.

- Driving the corrective action response system for internal and external concerns.

- Travel to customers as a representative of the client

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering (preferably in the automotive industry)

- High School Diploma/GED

- B.S. degree in related engineering discipline Preferred or experience equivalent required

- PPAP experience
