We are a food manufacturing company in Vernon, CA, looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll ensure our products meet quality and safety standards during the receipt and dispatch process.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to check quality, quantity, and accuracy.
Follow food safety protocols (SQF, HACCP).
Report quality issues and follow up to maintain product standards.
Keep accurate records of inspections and quality activities.
Help resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
Ensure accurate labeling and documentation for shipments.
Audit shipping and receiving processes for quality improvement.
Communicate with the Quality Assurance Manager and other departments on quality issues and improvements.
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
3+ years of quality assurance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
Knowledge of food safety regulations (SQF, HACCP).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with quality assurance tools and software.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Must have experience working in a food facility.
Schedule & Pay:
Starting Pay: $24.00/HR DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday
Shift: 3rd Shift, 2:00 a.m. 10:30 a.m. (Overtime Required)
