Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the QI, Mental Health and IT/IS teams to track and review data, assist with mental health office tasks, and support the functionality of agency Electronic Health Records.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review and track data in Electronic Health Records for Accuracy and program outcomes
- Assist with myEvolv data entry, testing, and overall build.
- Update Electronic Health Record with demographic and client information.
- Assist with treatment team follow up around obtaining documents and/or responses to QI tracking questions.
- Assist with maintaining the medical/mental health charts (for example, uploading Psychosocials into the Electronic Health Record).
- Conduct internal audits as-needed.
- Assist with scheduling Psychiatry and Psychology appointments and making reminder calls when primary staff are out of the office.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, some college preferred
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with supervisors, caseworkers, clerical staff as well as with youth and families
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate and comprehensive spreadsheets and/or reports
- Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Travel Requirements:
This position's main office is located at 630 Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn, NY and work can be completed remotely or in person based on clinical need and client preference.
