- Perform statistical analysis on finished goods using tools like Power BI to ensure process control.
- Assist in developing production process controls and recommend improvements to eliminate rework and poor product quality.
- Determine material suitability for change control processes and initiate necessary change requests based on quality metrics.
- Develop methods to eliminate batch adjustments and improve product quality.
- Conduct Gage R&R studies and evaluate results for the QC Lab.
- Maintain the company-wide calibration program and participate in Product Team meetings to discuss product performance.
- Revise and maintain test procedures and SOPs related to quality and production.
- Act as a lab liaison and assist the Quality Assurance Manager with quality-related tasks.
- Assist customers with material quality issues and issue Quality Alerts to appropriate departments.
- Delegate tasks to QC support staff, update corrective action records, and compile requested reports for customers.
- Participate in internal audit teams, corrective action team investigations, and assist during customer and surveillance audits.
- Maintain quality-related performance metrics and promote Customer Requirement Awareness.
- Participate in training activities and become a subject matter expert through outside training.
- Experience with quality assurance, ISO standards, audits, quality control, CAPA, document control, and chemistry.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 and IATF standards.
- Strong mathematics and statistics skills for investigation and analysis.
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics).
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001. Experience with IATF standards is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Quality Management Systems and ERP systems.
