A leading manufacturer of HVAC equipment located in the city of Whittier, CA is currently in need of a Quality Assurance associate. The Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring defect-free products are shipped out of the facility while maintain strict safety practices. We are looking for dedicated professionals to help maintain the high standards our company is known for.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-process and final inspection of all products and components going through the facility, ensuring with both dimensional and non-dimensional acceptance criteria.
Perform receiving inspection of component parts and raw material.
Identify potential quality issues and collaborate with the immediate supervisor to develop solutions.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding any circumstances that impact product quality.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for various types of coatings (CFT Meter, Depth Coating).
Support and maintain all elements of companys safety program and policies.
Develop and implement permanent corrective actions for customer complaints and product defects.
Participation in Safety and Haz-Mat teams as needed.
Adhere to all company Quality and Safety policies and standards.
Qualification / Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing facility, specifically with fabricated metal products.
Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.
Basic Knowledge of ISO-9001:2015 requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
