Quality Control Laboratory Manager

 

5 plus years of work experience in a regulated laboratory setting.

Handle all Quality Control regulatory matters to maintain compliance with FDA, EPA, AIB, and OSHA standards.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Department, including the Analytical and Microbiology Laboratories, across three shifts.
  • Supervise sample collection and production evaluation to ensure quality standards.
  • Perform routine and specialized analyses of materials, including raw, in-process, environmental, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Oversee and manage quality control activities throughout the organization.
  • Conduct quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures.
  • Maintain and oversee compliance with cGMP documentation requirements.
  • Conduct and/or organize Quality Control facility audits.

 

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science.
  • 5 plus years of work experience in a regulated laboratory setting.
  • Working knowledge of ISO reqs, CAPA, FMEA, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of processing quality system policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Validation protocols, IQ-OQ-PQ.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate quality control team members.
  • Knowledge in microbiological analysis.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficient in analyzing data and identifying trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
