QA Engineer
Location: Irvine, On-site

A leading global provider of networking and smart home technology is seeking experienced QA Engineers to join its team. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge networking and surveillance technologies, contributing to the development of high-performance products that enhance connectivity and user experience.

As part of the QA team, you will collaborate with top engineers to design and execute testing strategies for networking devices, surveillance products, and cloud-based platforms. Your contributions will help ensure the stability, reliability, and security of next-generation networking solutions used by millions worldwide.

• Design and execute test plans for networking devices, surveillance products, and cloud management platforms.
• Develop and maintain testbed infrastructure, analyze automated regression failures, and certify software releases.
• Review product requirements, specifications, and test plans, providing insights from a testing perspective.
• Document test procedures, bug reports, and test results with clear and detailed descriptions.
• Work closely with the R&D team to troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high-quality product releases.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing network products or surveillance systems (Camera/NVR).
• Basic knowledge of Radius, VLAN technologies, 802.1x, and Captive Portal.
• Strong understanding of networking architecture, including Routing/Switching (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), IP, TCP/UDP, and application protocols (HTTP, SNMP, etc.).
• Familiarity with security technologies such as Firewalls, NAT, IPS, and VPNs.
• Ability to write quality automation test code using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.

• Experience in testing SDN systems or surveillance systems.
• Experience with cloud performance testing.
• Background in software development.
• Knowledge of large-scale enterprise network deployments.
