What to Expect

This position will support testing and building test frameworks for different vehicle ownership related applications, which includes supercharging, roaming initiatives, upgrades, subscriptions, tesla electric, dev tools and other enterprise workflows. This is backend orchestration team focused on building distributed systems to power customer facing interfaces including mobile app, vehicle and third-party platforms.

What You'll Do

In this role, your job responsibilities will include integrating with our Core services team, writing automation for new and existing features, as well triaging and maintaining automation across multiple products

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Define and implement required test services and components for CI/CD pipelines

Recognize areas for automation within manual test cases and convert them into efficient automated tests

The position demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical and communication skills who can contribute in a cross-functional team environment

You will be passionate about testing the services, developing automation frameworks and tools for validating core components that are part of the platform

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Developers to understand product requirements, and translate them into a robust test strategy

Design and develop and develop advanced automated test suites using object-oriented methodologies and industry standard tools

Write backend integration tests for RESTful APIs, develop Python frameworks and libraries to help support automated test case development

Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs

Coordinate/work on end-to-end testing across different teams that include upstream and downstream dependent systems

What You'll Bring

Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline

At least 3 years' experience testing client-server applications and microservice architectures

Extensive knowledge of writing tests for RESTful APIs

Candidate has strong programming skills that facilitates creating automation scripts without a problem

Expected Compensation

$128,000 - $216,000/annual salary + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
