Site Electrical Quality Engineer

Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Site Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Site Quality Engineer, you will be part of the quality assurance and control department supporting various electrical grid infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Site Quality Engineer (Contract)

Location: Plain City, OH

What's the Job?

• Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures specific to grid solutions projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure they meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities, ensuring traceability and compliance with project documentation requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices related to grid solutions.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in electrical grid projects, including substations, transmission lines, and related infrastructure.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ANSI) and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and testing methods.
