Automation Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Java, Selenium, API testing, and web & mobile testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience with both front-end and back-end testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium .

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI .

• Conduct end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications across different platforms and browsers.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps .

• Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices.

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and test cases.

• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports.

• Execute functional, regression, performance, and integration testing as needed.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing .

• Proficiency in Java for test automation development.

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI .

• Experience in mobile testing using tools like Appium (preferred).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps .

• Familiarity with SQL for database validation.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs .

• Performance testing experience using JMeter .

• Experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber .

Additional Requirements:

• Must be local to Columbus, OH and available for on-site work if required.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay rate: $48/hr on W2
